General English  

Idioms & Phrases,Synonyms,Antonyms,Spelling/Detecting ,Narration (Direct/indirect Speech),one word substitution,improvement of sentences ,Spot the Error,Cloze Passage,Comprehension Passage ,Fill in the Blanks ,Shuffling of Sentences/Passage (Jumble), Active/Passive Voice,Tenses,etc

General Knowledge:

Geography and Socio Economic development of Assam & Modern History (From 1857 onwards) of India, History,Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography of India and Indian culture. 
Candidate has to prepare the current affairs going on international & national.

Quantitative Aptitude :

LCM & HCF, Decimals, Number Systems, Simplification, Fractions, Ratio & Proportion, Time & Distance,Mensuration, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, and Time & Work, Simple & Compound Interest, 

Writing and Drafting (English or Assamese): 

Question will be based on some paragraph in which candidate have to either prepare the notes, this test is generally to test the efficiency in language and Drafting letter's/application.

Computer Knowledge : 

MS Office 2003/2007/2010 Word, Presentation, Excel, Knowledge of Operating
Systems Windows XP/7/8, 7, Internet Working Processor & Memory, Database Management System, basic knowledge of Computer Languages.(Practical knowledge of MS Office)
